Everyone! As long as you have a bicycle worthy of being ridden on dirt, and can pedal it, you can do this! If you are a pro, it’s great for training. If you are new to Mountain Biking and/or Riverside State Park, it’s a great way to learn the trails and make new friends.
We use the term “race” loosely. We are all about fun and keeping it simple! Come out on Wednesday Nights and ride your bike. Pedal as hard as you want or casually if you want. If pedaling casually, do keep in mind that it will eventually get dark! New course every week. Random prize drawings and cold drinks will be waiting for you at the Finish Line.
Every Wednesday Night in May and June, starting May 4th. Registration opens at 5PM. Racing starts promptly at 6:30 PM.
The “old airstrip” in the 7 Mile Area of Riverside State Park.

You will be issued a number plate with a timing chip stuck to the back of it. It is yours for the entire series. Please hold on to it, and try not to ruin it. Replacement number plates/chips will be $5.00.
2015 marks our 10 year anniversary of racing on Wednesday Nights. Our main goal is fun. Part of the fun is keeping things simple. We don’t have a bunch of age groups, multiple start times etc. We have a different course each Wednesday that will challenge you in different ways. You will have the option of going 1 lap or 2 laps. Laps are typically 7-9 miles. The only “age groups” we do have are 17 & Under, 18-39, and 40 & Over. And we separate Male/Female. Your age group will be determined by the age you are on the first night of the series. We will keep points for the entire series. Division Winners get prizes at the final party.
**Junior Age groups will be broken down to 14 & Under and 15-17; 1 lap for Male and Female. There will be a 17 & Under 2 Laps, Male only.
Each night is sponsored by a different local bike shop. There will be a random prize giveaway after every race. Also, ice cold beverages for all to enjoy (please, one per person until most everyone has finished).

We strive to leave the area better than we found it when we came in. Please pick up any trash you find, whether it’s yours or not. Also, please be kind to the neighbors that live near the park. Go very slow on the road on dry warm nights to help keep the dust to a minimum.
